Arab Women Ruba Abdulhadi and Badea Jaber are changing fashion e-commerce in the Middle East

ArabianDate would like to highlight the accomplishments of two Arab women that have decided to change the game when it comes to online luxury shopping in the Middle East.  Arab women share common interests with the rest of the world, but sometimes have limited access to truly explore their passions.

In these cases, especially talented and ambitious women have risen to the challenge of becoming successful and carved their own paths.  For example, Ruba Abdulhadi and Badea Jaber have created an e-commerce website for Arab women to access high fashion runway items and other high-end apparel in a place it is rarely found—Palestine.

Before Ruba made the decision to live abroad and pursue an education in Fashion Marketing and Psychology, she was living in Palestine and noticed that some people would do the impossible just to acquire luxury fashion items—from which she drew her inspiration.

"Being Palestinian and growing up in Ramallah, fashion was just a fantasy or just beautiful models on a magazine for me" - Ruba Abdulhadi

Her business partner, Badea began with a different career interest and studied Political Science at Duke University, but ultimately crossed paths with Ruba through her cousin.  She had been jumping from industry to industry before finally landing her concentration on journalism, and began writing about fashion.

When they met, they hit it off instantly and knew they would become a great team.

The website, Elmuda.com offers interviews with designers, along with glimpses of Arab celebrity fashion and how to capture their style.

There are all types of interesting ladies on ArabianDate ready to discuss their careers and lives with you.  Why not start a conversation and see where it leads?
